Terrorism and Drug Prohibition: At Grover’s meeting I had a nice chat auf Deutsch with a German member of the European Union.  As you may know, Germany does not have a ‘War on Drugs/People, even as they have prohibited drugs like USA.  Thus, I directed my arguments that the BKA (Bundes Kriminal Amt)…. Germany’a FBI –would have more resources to go after terrorists, if they did not waste time on a few drugs.  Plus, I pointed out that the #1 source of money around the world for terrorists is the sale and smuggling of illegal drugs.

 Rock His World:  At lunch I ran into an old, conservative friend….For 20 years he trains young ‘elephants’ on issues and how to sell/market them.  With him was a young staffer.  I invited the staffer to the Norquist meeting for the experience.

Later, I learned the 90 minute meeting rocked his young world.  He had no idea of how many POVs are presented from all over the world, etc.  He met a candidate for the mayor’s race and joined her corps of volunteers.  One never knows how much impact one might make.

PS… I had a good chat en Espanol with that mayoral candidate…I gave her some ideas on how to market changes in the war on drugs.
