Cops on the Hill: Stories from the week of April 1, 2022

Speaking Frankly:    When I explained to a Republican aide the major, special interest groups (police, prosecutors, drug treatment industry and private prisons) who fight changes in the Drug War, she responded that her Boss had no problem giving those groups or any groups “The Middle Finger.”  I must say, that was a first in some 5,000 presentations I have made since 2005.  LOL  Made My Day. * Consider being a member of COP at $40 or more per year. All contributions are tax-deductible. 40 dollars buys all the copy paper COP uses in one year. Law Enforcement’s voice in opposition to current policy is vital on the Hill to achieve a repeal of federal drug prohibition. COP provides that voice. www.citizensopposingprohibition.org
