02 major conferences attended – CPAC and RAGBRAI (week long rolling event in Iowa with 29,000 attending)
Funds Spent: $14,000
Narrative: about half of the funds were directed to day-to-day expenses; mileage, meals, office needs (needed a new laptop). The other half was spent on CPAC, the week in Iowa and some minor conferences.
Money in the bank on 1-1-24 was $21,000. Contributions in 2023 totaled about $6,000. Expenditures were circa $10,000. We lost our most generous donor, when a Texan decided to concentrate on marijuana reform in his home state.
COP will pare down expenses in 2024 to stay comfortable.
